| Dearest Partners-in-Ministry,
Blessed Merry Christmas to you. Thanking God for each of YOU. It is your partnership in this ministry, your faithful support and prayers, your love and encouragement that keeps me fighting the good fight of faith.
Thank you for helping to bring the love and hope of Jesus to the Japanese people. Thank you for making a difference in my life and the lives of the Japanese students.
Praying God's abundant blessings and joy overtake you, may the love and hope of Christ always overflow in your heart in the coming year.
Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Thank God for your partnership, Love from Pamela Koh and students of Nagoya Student Impact.
Good tidings, Praise Reports and Prayer Requests
I'm really grateful that I'm ending this year 2009 and entering the new year with a heart that is filled with gratitude and hope. God is so faithful in His ways and He is so gracious. I like to share many good tidings with you of how your partnership is impacting lives in Japan.
I fell sick since the beginning of December, from the first day the Australian Mission Team landed. The flu virus has been going around strong this year in Japan. I don't remember ever falling so sick in Japan. Catching a bad cold and cough during the busiest period of ministry that refused to go away, is indeed a thorn in the flesh.
But in my physical weakness, I thank God for His amazing grace that strengthened me for what i needed to do. His grace is indeed more more than enough for me each day. I know I have grown in intimacy with God. That's the grace of God.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.....For when I am weak, then i am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Because I was sick, my involvement with the mission team was limited this time. My cold was so bad on some days, I had to take rest. God taught me a lot about TRUSTing in Him and resting in faith, instead of striving by my efforts. I may not be able to "do" as much as I hope to, but as i depended on Him in prayer, God is able to do far more than I can ever ask or hope for. I thought that if I was not sick, i could do more. But God showed me that even if I was sick, a heart dependent on Him can do much more. That's the grace of God! :)
God faithfully multiplies the limited work of my hands. "5 loaves and 2 fish" can feed a multitude! That's the grace of God! :)
May you be encouraged to know that His grace abounds to you too. Below are testimonies of God's faithfulness in my weakness.
(1)From babies to disciples....
God gave me the joy of leading Saki, Shiho, Mai and Kumiko to the Lord this year in June, and I've just been really encouraged by God's faithfulness in working in their lives and seeing them grow from babies to disciples. This Christmas season saw all these babies actively sharing their faith with their friends and some already have the joy of leading their friends to the Lord. These girls have started leading CE bible study with their friends.
Please pray for this next generation of girls' disciples at Gaidai- Kahori, Sachie, Saki, Kumiko and Shiho. (Mai will leave us briefly for a year of exchange in Australia.)
Pray for this next generation of disciples at Gaidai- Kumiko, Kahori, Shiho, Mai, and Saki, Sachie. (not in pic)
-Together with Saki, we could share the gospel with her classmates, Risa and Haruna and they came to know the Lord. Here's Risa's story- One day before biblestudy with Saki, her friend Risa came along and we just started chatting. It was my first time meeting Risa. We found out Risa's grandmother was Christian, but she knew little about Christianity except that her grandmother would pray before meals and often tell her "Jesus is watching over you." We could share our testimonies with Risa and invited her for CE- pre-believer bible study. On the second session, we shared the gospel and led Risa to Christ. Saki has been learning to lead CE with Risa and Haruna.
(From top- Risa, Saki, Haruna and me at Gaidai's new building 7.)
-We were having lunch with Kumiko and her friends one day and Naoko came along. So far, we have never met her among the usual group. She saw Kumiko's bible and asked what was it. I told her it's a bible and how it has changed my life. Naoko said she has always wanted to study the bible because her favorite high school teacher had recommended it. I invited her for CE, trained Kumiko to lead it. Together with Kumiko, we led Naoko to Christ during the second session.
(Kumiko greatly encouraged that God could use her to lead her friend, Naoko to Christ.)

-Shiho invited her friend Asuka to Christmas Party and she shared what she learnt form the bible to her friend for the first time. Shiho, who was shy, depended on God, and boldly shared her testimonies in-front of us. Asuka has began CE and training Shiho to lead it. It is so fun to watch Shiho coming out of her shyness and taking steps of faith for God. Pray for Asuka's salvation.
(Shy Shiho, in the middle, sharing her testimony to the table of us.)
(2)Thank God for a new harvest of babies
As mentioned above, we thank God for the new additions to the family- Risa, Haruna, Naoko and Emi. Also from Nagoya Gakuin, a new pioneering campus, we also have Tetsuya, a guy received Christ through the Megumi Mission Team this year. Please pray and intercede for these babies that God will protect their faith and they would grow strong, having a deep spiritual hunger for the things of God.
(Girls' Fellowship Nite with Megumites)
(Thank God for the labor of the MM at gaidai and the Stinters at gaidai.)
(Jody and I with Megumi Mission Team Leader, Renee.)
(3) New Guy non-christian contacts
Through the Mission Team, we have seen an expanded contact base of guy non-christian contacts at Gaidai and at other campuses including Aichi-Gakuin (AGU) that we started pioneering this year. A very encouraging story from AGU- last week, Masayoshi and George gave a CHristmas CD (an evangelistic CD produced by Student Impact) to a cleaning lady at one of the largest Cafeteria on the campus. She was so excited that she played the CD, not knowing about the content; over the loud speaker. The CD has songs and a DJ explaining the gospel. So that day, at AGU- a Buddhist university in Japan, God used this cleaning lady, to play the gospel message over the loud-speaker. How cool is our God! Masayoshi said the CD was on repeat-mode and so it played over a few times. We trust many students get to hear it. I'm sure it's God's way of encouraging the Masayoshi, Andy, George and Takeshi who have worked hard on this campus over this year.
Many more guys heard the gospel through the mission team. Please continue to pray that in months to come, we will see fruit of the seeds that have been sown.
(4) Joy of witnessing baptism of Kahori and Ayu
I had the joy of seeing 2 girls whom I disciple very closely, Kahori and Ayu, got baptized together last week. Ayu was among the first few girls I led to faith in japan. It has been God' grace just seeing how much they have grown and how much they love Jesus. That's the grace of God!
(Ayu, Pamela, Jody and Kahori.)
(Celebrating Kahori and Ayu's baptism at Nisshin Church.)
(5) Thank God for students considering full-time.
-Kaji has decided on stint to serve in Sydney International Ministry. Please pray for smooth application process and his support raising.
-Kaji, Kahori, Ayu and Emi are potential staff candidates. These graduating students will join the Japan staff conference in Feb, please pray God will speak to each personally about their calling and future directions.
Your Partnership makes this all possible, God bless, Pamela Koh Staff with Nagoya Student Impact, Japan.

| Dearest Partners-in Ministry,
I thank God daily for your partnership that enables to keep serving His purposes here in Japan. Your sacrificial giving and faithful prayers really are making a difference in my life and here in Japan. I cannot do this without you. :)
Last night, I experienced my first typhoon in Japan. The typhoon 18 whirled over Nagoya early morning and i was woken up by the vibration of the windows in my house that makes quite a rattling sound. i thought i felt my house shook like during a mild earth-quake. Trying hard not to imagine what would happen if my windows cannot take the pressure of the strong wind. In my bed, I thank God I have a roof over my head, and i prayed for the safety of those out there who are either without shelter or living in flimsy-made houses out in the country-side. I don't think I can ever get used to earthquakes and typhoon, trust me, it is scary every time cos you never know how serious it could be.
Maybe it's because I come from Singapore, a small but blessed land, that is unplagued by natural disasters. Living now in Japan, a land vulnerable to earthquakes and all kinds of natural disasters, it really helps put life into perspective. I thank God I'm alive. My life is really in His hands. It makes me really want to live every moment of my life for His glory, not wanting to waste a single moment. Indeed "to live is Christ!" (Phil 1: 21)
It is easy to get to caught up with problems we see, or the challenges of life, to complain or get depressed. But even in the midst of all that, we can give thanks to God for giving us life. He has given us life, eternal life and all the spiritual blessings that come with it. Even in midst of challenges, we can thank God for giving us life, health and His Holy Spirit. We have Jesus and He is the greatest blessing, that nothing can take away. We are blessed. The Nagoya ministry is facing lots of challenges but in the midst of it, I am learning and experiencing the power of thanksgiving.
"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Psalms 90:12
Thanking God for You and your partnership, God bless, Pamela Koh Staff of Student Impact, Japan Nagoya.
Praise Reports:
-Sendai Summer Mission was a success.
Our student leaders came back having grown in leadership and a greater ownership of the ministry. There was good team work and partnership with staff and students at Sendai, and so they could continue to follow-up the non-believers who heard the gospel through the team. Although there were no decisions during the trip, we heard 2 of the pre-believers received Christ 2 weeks ago.
(Pic 1: The Sendai Team- Jody, Ayu, Cecilia, George, Kaji, Emi and Keiko.)
-Manon's treatment going well.
Thank you for praying for Manon and Takeshi's family. The first round of chemo went really well and other than losing his hair, he very quickly got over the side effects and is doing really well. This week Manon begins the 2nd round of chemo out of the 5 that he must complete. Please continue to join us in prayer for Manon's complete healing. Takeshi and family's faith are kept strong and protected because of your prayers.
Ministry Prayer Needs:
1) We need a new generation of freshmen leaders to fill the gap of graduating seniors next year. Pray for new believers in particular, Mai, Kumiko, Shiho and Saki to be assimilated and rise up as leaders. For God to give them greater spiritual hunger and passion to reach the lost.
2) Pray for salvation of guys and for us to find christian guys on campuses. We need breakthrough in reaching the japanese guys. Pray for Kaji that his life will multiply.
3) Pray for divine appointments and for God to open doors for us to reach friends of Shiho, Saki, Mai and Kumiko.
4) The Megumi Mission Team of 9, from Australia is coming from 23 november-23 December. Please pray for God to prepare hearts of non-believers here and for preparation of the team.
5) It has been difficult in getting new believers to come for our weekly meeting. Please pray that nothing will hinder new babies from coming for our weekly meeting. That as they come, it will help them assimilate into fellowship quickly.
Personal Prayer Request:
-That I will see through eyes of faith despite challenges in ministry. As I abide in God, God will bless the work of my hands as I impart into lives of my disciples, and fruitfulness as I step out in faith to build new friendships for sharing the gospel.
-God will give me wisdom as I pray about my future and seek Him with regards to areas that I hope to specialize in; and also for opportunities and financial provision to equip myself further.
A little glimpse of life outside ministry:
Keeping sane in Japan- thank God for hip-hop dance class that's so much fun and helps me keep fit. Had my first ever hip-hop performance in August and I really enjoyed myself.

| Dearest Partners-in-ministry,
I thank God so much for blessing me with each of you to journey with me. Your faithful commitment to prayer and sowing in the Lord's work here in Japan, makes it possible for me to keep serving God here. Your encouragement keeps me going even when the battle intensifies, knowing I have a faithful team of partners cheering me on. I really appreciate your partnership.
(Group picture at last weekly meeting of the Spring Term.)
Intensifying Spiritual Battle
Japan is a great place to learn dependence on the Lord simply because the spiritual battle that we are fighting is so real. It really builds spiritual tenacity and ever deepening trust in the Lord. Our Nagoya Team finds the spiritual battle for us intensifying this summer and we are inviting you to fight along side with us through your intercession and prayers. For the battles we fight is not flesh and blood, but against the spiritual powers of darkness.
It is really difficult for me to write this but just a week ago, one of our staff Takeshi's 5 year old son, Manon, has been diagnosed with acute myelogenous lukiemia which is a rare kind of leukemia for children. Many of you might remember that our Nagoya Director Seiji's son Sho, also died of leukemia about 5 years ago at age 7. So it is like a recurring nightmare all over again for the Nagoya staff team. The last week was extremely hard and emotional for our Nagoya Staff Team. We really sense the intensity of the spiritual battle. God is expanding His kingdom here in Nagoya and Satan obviously is getting nervous and doesn't like it very much.
Sendai Mission Trip: the first step to victory
Takeshi was supposed to lead a local mission trip to end of August. The Sendai team is made up of the Aussie and Sendai stinters Cecilia, George, Amy, Jojo and also 5 student leaders, Kaji, Emi, Ayumi, Keiko and Nozomi fr Sendai. These students are considering full-time. With Manon's situation, Takeshi could no longer lead the team. However, after seeking God, Takeshi and his wife insisted that the mission should not be canceled but should carry on. This is because knowing that is is spiritual battle, sending the mission team out would be a step of spiritual victory that might help bring healing to Manon. Manon will start chemo next week. Please pray for miraculous healing and wisdom for the doctor treating him. Also for side-effects and pain to be kept to the minumum for Manon.
We thank God for strengthening Takeshi's faith and his family at a crisis time like this. Their faith in God is really inspiring and bringing Him glory. Takeshi and his wife are also the Prayer Coordinators of the Nagoya Team. I remembered when I was coordinating prayer during my 2nd year in Japan, I felt intensive spiritual battle like never before in my life. It was also then that my grandmother fell really sick. Takeshi also is being groomed for leadership. There is a reason why he and his family is targeted. We need to uphold this family in prayer.
(Pray for miraculous healing for Manon.)
Jody will lead the Sendai Mission Trip since Takeshi and family has to pull out. We invite you to pray along with us for this mission trip from 16- 29 August. Please pray for Jody who is leading, for Kaji as the student leader.May we see salvation and God's glory through this mission trip, and may God raise up full-time workers for the harvest field.
Protect the Babies in Prayer
More spiritual war fare. We are now in summer vacation and baby christians have returned to their home-town. August is a spiritual month in Japan because of the Obon Season, much like our hungry ghost period in Singapore. Please pray God protect the really vulnerable faith of our baby christians as it is not uncommon for the enemy to attack their faith during this time. Miki, Mayuka, Shiho, Saki-chan, Risa, Mai, Kumiko, Ayaka and Mie are the babies. Please pray many can sign up for our Fall Camp in September.
(Sendai Mission Team from Nagoya)
Jesus is more than enough
Personally, I was in shocked for quite a few days because Manon is really my favorite among the staff kids. Over the years, Manon's smile has never failed to bring much healing to my soul when i need encouragement.
In times like these, God leads me to worship Him even more in the midst of warfare too. God teach me that to worship in spirit and in truth is worshiping God even when we don't understand, worshiping Him for who He is, not just what He can do. Worshiping God and offering the sacrifices of praise, through tears even when circumstances seem crazy, is paving the way for God's victory.
And God comes in a still small voice and he says to me, "I'm more than enough for you." And He is more than enough for me. He is more than enough for us, the Nagoya Team. I know that even if all I have is 5 loaves and 2 fish, when I give all to Jesus, He can take it and use it for His glory. In Him, is more than enough grace, strength, joy and power to keep pressing on. Thank you for your prayers that keep me going on.
This could be the beginning of a long-drawn battle for our team. We're a small team so when one is down, the effect is quite big. But we are rising up to fight. In our battle, God says there is no retreating. We have to press on forward if we want to see the victory of God. It's times like these that we need your prayers even more! Please pray for faith and strength for the Nagoya Team.
Thanks for fighting along side with us.
Praying that God will be more than enough for you too.
Appreciate your partnership, God bless, Pamela Koh Staff with Nagoya Student Impact
(Leading worship at our weekly meeting has been a faith challenge for me.)

| Dearest Partners-in-ministry,
Thank you so much for your faithful partnership in prayer and your sacrificial giving that makes it possible for me to serve God's purposes here. Your partnership is making a difference in Japan and impacting the lives of the Japanese with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Your partnership is raising up a new generation of Japanese believers who will make a difference in their generation. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing and giving me the privilege of partnering with you.
"never give-up" and "unquestioning obedience"
God really taught me the power of "never give up" and "unquestioning obedience" in the past month. At Gaidai since April, we have been working really hard at meeting and building trust relationships with many freshmen. By June, I was feeling a bit discourage because there was no breakthroughs in freshmen starting CE, evangelistic bible studies.
It was during that period that the Holy Spirit kept speaking to me through Galatians 5:9 "let us not be weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Even though what I can see in the natural seems to be difficult and impossible, God keeps encouraging me that I need to keep my faith in Him and not give up, but keep pressing-in in prayer and also stepping out in faith.
His grace kept me believing and indeed we will reap if we do not give up. God showed me that believing alone is not enough, but unquestioning obedience to Him when He leads is just as important. When i choose to believe Him and step out in faith, in unquestioning obedience when He leads, He began to show me His miracles. God gave me the joy and privilege of leading Miki, Mayuka, Mai, Kumiko and Shiho, to the Lord in 2 weeks, in 6 separate occasions, when God gave me the opportunity to share the gospel with them. I was so touched because I have not seen such harvest like this, since i came to Japan.
Mayuka, Mai and Kumiko were really surprising because when I first met them, they seemed to be so happy about life that they would have no need for God. I actually thought that they seem too "happy to need Jesus." But these seemingly happy girls DO NEED Jesus. On 3 different occasions, when God opened their hearts to share, it was then I found out Mayuka was almost thinking of dying due to a bad break-up,
Mai was so troubled by her inability & struggle in connecting with friends in class, she was actually depressed. Kumiko was under so much pressure and fear when she thinks about her future because she has alot of things she want to do but her parents are not supportive. Mayuka, Mai and Kumiko since they met Jesus a few weeks ago are experiencing God changing their lives, they found hope because they met Jesus. Mayuka now found a reason to live, Mai is amazingly becoming more bold socially and Kumiko now can experience peace because she knows God is in control of her future.
(Mai received Christ and s few days later, her friend Kumiko also became Christian.)
In Miki and Shiho's case, it was also amazing how their hearts that have already been prepared by God. When Kahori and I shared the gospel with Miki, God suddenly brought back a past memory where she prayed to God and felt very strongly that there is a God. As we shared with her, she realised that Jesus must be that God. Shiho, have always been interested in Christianity since young. Her parents came to the Lord only in recent years. However, she thought that because she could not go to church every week, she could not be a Christian. I explained to her salvation by grace through faith, not works and she was so relief because she had always wanted to have a relationship with Jesus.
(BABY PARTY for Mayuka, Kumiko and Miki, (those holding the mini-cakes) planned by baby Asuka who trusted Christ last november.)
(The senior girls, Kahori, Mai, Asuka, Ayu now learning to care for their younger baby sisters.)
Things are not what they seem to be. God really taught me to learn to trust the leading of the Spirit, not myself, and stepping out in unquestioning obedience even if the situation seem "impossible" in the natural. And to never give up and keep on believing because the breakthrough could just be a prayer away.
I hope what i have learnt could be an encouragement to you if you, too are trusting God for a breakthrough. May this email remind you not to look at the natural circumstances but to keep believing, never give up and step out in unquestioning obedience when God leads, cos He will lead you into the breakthrough.
Thank you so much for your partnership, God bless You, Pamela Koh Staff of Student Impact, Japan.
Growing Up
Your prayers have protected babies like Mai, Asuka and Saki who trusted Christ last year. They are out of ICU and their faith have stablized and it is encouraging to see them growing up, and reaching out to the new batch of ICU BABIES. These girls have been taking steps in sharing their faith and reaching out to encourage the younger ones.
-Saki and Kahori started CE with Ayaka and both of them lead Ayaka to faith during the first session.
-Ayumi also started CE with Risa. Risa was born in a Christian home but have never made a personal decision about her faith. Ayumi could share the gospel with her and Risa made a decision to receive Jesus into her life.
-Mai (Gakugei) who trusted christ last november, shared gospel with her friend, Ayano who received Christ last month. A week later, Ayano who goes to Kinjio, shared with her friend also called Mai, with staff Becky and that friend also received Christ.
(new additions to gaidai family, including Risa and Ayaka.)
(Mai, me, Ayano and Ayano's friend mai from Kinjio)
GOD-GIVEN VISION
Since last year, the Lord has been challenging me in the area of praying for and giving to humanitarian works around the work. Through watching sermons online, God began to expose me to needs of people around the world today who are suffering injustices. In particular, the hunger and starvation problem, children and women forced into sex industry in India and Africa, and sufferers of AIDS, especially children in Africa, who have no access to medical help, and children in Uganda who are orphaned and emotionally displaced because of the civil war, are some issues that caught my attention.
God has been personally speaking to me and revealing to me about the need for us as Christians, to be involved in humanitarian works be it through giving, praying or actual doing. To be champions of social justice because it is our Lord's heart to bring justice to sufferers of injustice and to make wrong right.
God has led me to pray and to give, but recently God has convicted me of the need to raise up mission and humanitarian workers for the world-wide harvest. I really want to pass this vision to the students that I am discipling and directly impacting. Will you please pray along with me that God will anoint me to cast the vision to my students so they will all be actively involved in mission and humanitarian works.
Thank you for partnering with me in raising up Japanese people who will make a difference in our generation through missions and humanitarian works.
Prayer Requests:
-Pray for the new babies who are still in ICU stage, that their faith will be stable and they will have hunger to grow and be assimilated. Saki-chan, Shiho, Miki, Mayuka, Mai, Kumiko, Ayaka and Risa. (especially for their faith to be protected during the summer vacation in August)
-Pray for those of my girls who will be graduating next year, Asuka, Saki (gaidai), and medical students Ibuki, Saki and Satoko that God will give them the vision of being involved in missions and humanitarian works be it through giving or actually doing it.
-Pray for Graduating students Ayumi, Kaji and Emi who are praying about serving God full-time, that God will show them clearly His call for their lives.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTNERSHIP:
- I'm currently raising monthly support. If God leads you to partner with me monthly any amount, or increasing your monthly contribution. please contact me via email. Your partnership makes it possible for me to serve His purposes.

| Dearest Partners-in-Ministry,
Thank God so much for your commitment to what God's mission work here in Japan, be it through your giving or your prayers. It is my privilege to have you partnering with me in reaching the Japanese people for Jesus. Thank you for bringing His love and healing to many through your partnership.
Recently, God has been teaching me much about TRUST. Trusting in Him who works through my prayers, Trusting in His ways, and in Him who works in ways i cannot see. Trusting that when I give my ALL,"little in the Master's hands, can become much. "
In the face of inadequacies and limitations, I know God is teaching me to trust Him more. I have started leading worship at our weekly meetings. Each week our worship team experience the grace of God working through us in-spite of our inexperience and 'young-ness' as a team. It is often humbling to know God would choose to use me with my limited skills. Thank God He looks at the heart, and how His standards are different from the world's standard. Or I would never stand a chance. May my "little in the Master's hands, become much."
One of my disciples, whom I led to Christ, 2 years ago, has been praying about her future and what to do after graduation. It has been a very challenging period for her as she counts the cost of following Christ as she sense God's leading her into full-time. Yet for her, the biggest obstacle was "parental approval." She was afraid her decision would cause much grief to her pre-believing parents. She is very close to her family. And sure enough, when she shared with her parents this week, they could not understand her decision and opposed her . She is going through a hard time and I feel rather helpless too because all I could do is pray for her, and pray with her.
Yet when all we can do is pray, may "little in the Master's hands, became much." Please pray along with me for Ayu that she stay true to the calling of God, and stand firm on His promises in the face of opposition. May God work in Ayu's parents' heart on her behalf. May God raise another laborer for the harvest field of Japan. (those who know Ayu, please do not mail her, as it is still a confidential matter and i'm just asking for prayer. )
At Gaidai, we are trusting God to reach the freshmen with the gospel. Even though I feel limited in time and energy, on top of discipleship and other responsibilities, my burden is reach more with the gospel because His compassion compels me. May God multiply my little in the Master's hands to become much." Please pray for greater capacity to expand and more of God's power and anointing in my life.
I guess when we feel the most inadequate, when we feel at our limits; when we feel all we have is God, we can take comfort that He is all that we need.
"Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chronicles 20:15
Thank you for your faithful partnership, Making a difference together, Pamela Koh. Staff with Student Impact Japan, Nagoya.
PRAISE REPORTS and Prayer Needs
NEW SISTERS at KINJIO- Ayano and Mai
Mai-chan, whom I led to Christ last year's november, invited her high school good friend, Ayano, to the our monthly Friday Live Event last month. After the event, God led as George (stinter) and Jody chatted with Mai and Ayano. Mai got to share the gospel and Ayano received Christ. Ayano divinely goes to school at Kinjio university, which is a another campus we are working on. A week later, Ayano met up with Becky, our staff that goes to Kinjio, for follow-up. Ayano brought another friend, also called Mai, and Ayano though only a week's old christian, shared the gospel with Mai, and Mai also received Christ. Ayano and Mai at kinjio are being followed-up by Becky. God's work so amazing.
(Jody, Mai, Ayano and George at Friday Live)
-NEW FRESHMEN sister at Gaidai, SAKI-chan.
Saki-chan was introduced to me by Mika, our student from NGU campus. Saki-chan had always wanted to be a Christian but no-one had explained the gospel to her before nor tell her how to receive Christ. I was able to share the gospel with Saki-chan and she received Jesus into her life. Please pray for saki-chan's baby faith to grow strong and may she become a disciple who will lead others to Christ. It was such a joy to hear her exclaimed, "now, i finally understood what Jesus did for me on the cross. I feel so blessed now to have Him in my life."
(Saki-chan and me)
Aichi- Medical University Baby Christians Saki and Satoko says "hi"
When I started discipling Ibuki about 2 years ago, her dream was that in her final year as a medical student, she could pray with her good friends Saki and Satoko, before they study together. Ibuki's dream has come true. Early this year in February, we have been able to lead Saki and Satoko to faith in Jesus Christ together. Since then, we have worked hard on following them up. We thank God that they are stablized and growing in their faith. Ibuki is now in her final year, and together with her best friends, they could pray together before they study. God is faithful to make dreams happen. Pray for Ibuki as she step up to disciple them. May they all become doctors in the future who will live for God's glory.
(Saki, Satoko, me and Ibuki)
Other Prayer Requests
-Pray for saki-chan that as she grows in her faith, she might bring her friends to meet us and we can reach her friends.
-We are praying for freshmen to start CEs. Please pray for the salvation of some of our potential contacts like Takashi, Ryuta, Mikiya and for girls, Aki, Haruka, Miki and Mayuka. (Mayuka will start CE next week.)
-Evangelistic Events- International Night ( 11 June) and Friday Night Live (12 June)
-We have started pioneering work on another campus called Aichi Gakuin University, with a large population of guys. Our guy staff and stinters are being sent there. Takeshi, is leading this pioneering team. Pray for breakthrough for salvation of guys.
- I'm in need of monthly support of $150 and trusting in Him to provide. If God leads you to partner monthly any amount, please contact me via email.Your partnership makes it possible for me to serve His purposes.
